The couple has reportedly purchased a 5-bedroom apartment, so they won’t have to call a swanky hotel home for the entire summer. “Both Jay-Z and Beyoncé are going to be spending a lot of time in London over the next few months Jay is over here for his Watch The Throne Tour and Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Beyonce will be launching her perfume in Europe over the summer,” according to Global Grind. Instead of making a big purchase, Jay opted to rent an entire floor of the Lanesborough hotel.
The new-mommy who enjoyed her first mother’s day this past Sunday, with her mother-in-law and her mom Tina Knowles, penned a sweet, short letter, “Dear Mama” to her mom, thanking her for her sacrifices and noting all that she is, is because of her. The “Love On Top” singer also took some time on Sunday to enjoy a Broadway Musical “Ghost” where she met the cast backstage and took photos.

Jay-Z is speaking out in support of gay marriage. Following President Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage last week, the Roc Nation mogul has weighed in on the hot topic.
“I’ve always thought it as something that’s still holding the country back,” the rapper told CNN during a press conference for his “Made in America” festival in Philadelphia. “What people do in their own homes is their business. You can choose to love whoever you love. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”He responded to critics who claim it will cost Obama votes in the upcoming election. “I think it’s the right thing to do, so whether it costs him votes or not… Again, it’s not about votes, it’s about people,” he explained. “I think it’s the right thing to do as a human being.”When asked if he would be headed to the studio to work on a new album anytime soon the blushing new father replied “I thought that I would after my daughter was born. I thought I would be more inspired with all the new feelings and everything that I’d have to write about, but it really happened the other way,” he told MTV News. “I just really wanna hang out with her. I just wanna enjoy those moments for a bit and I’m sure thatfeeling of music will come back to me.”
